Elshaddai Foundation was envisioned in 2019 by Andrew ssebuufu who was raised by an orphanage at the age of 7 years. Andrew, did not grow up with his parents and was raised under the care of caregivers. Life with no parents was never easy. Waking up in an unfamiliar place surrounded by new faces with everyone telling you it’s your ‘home’ now. Waking up every day with a gut-wrenching feeling of loneliness with children who also feel alone and helpless.
